Leo Life Substrate from ProRep helps you achieve this be combining soil, sand and organic compounds to create a realistic environment that encourages natural behaviours.
Unlike traditional sand substrates, the specially selected blend in Leo Life allows for burrowing and digging, enabling small tunnels and burrows to be created by your pet - something that wouldn't be possible in a less stable sand based substrate.
Live plants can be included in a vivarium with Leo Life, although it is best to plant them whilst they are still in their pots rather than transplanting them directly into the sand.
How To Use Leo Life
Simply spread Leo Life across the base of your vivarium to the required depth. You can vary the amount you use to recreate deeper areas for burrowing or to surround other décor such as plants. The area directly under basking or heat lamps can be left dry to aid basking while you use a water spray to keep deeper areas damp and perfect for digging in. Use a sand scoop and sieve to spot clean areas of waste and debris on a regular basis.
